Finding a good training watch that will track your heart rate, location, distance and pace is important to a runner. If you have the right watch you can focus on your running instead of your watch. A couple of choices are reviewed here for you.
The Suunto T4 is a great option for runners focusing on cardio training. It comes with an HR monitor to let you know if you’re working hard enough.
Its foot pod will report your miles and its GPS works well as a basic speed and distance tracker.
With its elegant design, it provides a clear understanding of each workout with just a couple of pushes of a button. You can even track your calorie totals.
The Garmin Forerunner 305 is easy to read and has excellent GPS functionality. Its large display allows for customization and easily tracks heading, pace, grade, distance and max heart rate.
Given it’s a Garmin it’s no surprise that it almost never loses its GPS signal and it has an automatic waypoint setting allowing you to retrace your steps. The foot pod is easy to calibrate.
The HR Monitor allows you to compare calories, distance, pace and heart rate over time to track your progress.
