The Tissot T-Touch Watches, made primarily for outdoor adventurers, comes in a variety of designs

They’re know for many innovations in the watch industry, making their motto of “Innovators by tradition” so true and relevant. In its 150 years, Tissot Watches has come out with some cool features and designs which left customers satisfied and curious to see the next thing would be.

Now it’s the Tissot T-Touch Expert watch which was made primarily for campers and other outdoor adventurers. It has been especially popular with mountain climbers and extreme skiers.

But that is not the coolest part about this phone. What’s more interesting is their marketing strategy for this timepiece. A special iPhone application has been launched, allowing phone owners to enjoy all the features of the T-Touch on their phone.

The altimeter and compass readings work using the phone’s integrated GPS technology and the chronometer and alarm functions work the same way as they do on the watch. The thermometer and barometer appear on the face, just to have a resemblance to the original watch’s design but don’t actually give readings.

Once a viewer becomes fascinated, the company hopes he will feel compelled to buy the watch. They have made easy access to store locations and additional information about the watch to further the chances of a potential customer to actually buy iy.
