Tucked away on a lake in Neuchâtel is where it all happens in the offices of Officine Panerai. This quiet little town is where all the testing and manufacturing is done in Switzerland for Panerai.
Officine Panerai is from the Latin words opus (work) and facere (make), this is the place where technology is married to design creating the beauty that is Panerai.
The Radiomir was the first watch Panerai released in 1938 and to this day is very popular. The simple yet elegant design with its uncluttered black face is a work of art which has withstood the tests of time with only enhancements to bring it to current technological standards.
The movement is hand-wound mechanical Panerai caliber OP X with swan’s neck regulator. Power reserve is 56 hours.
The 45mm case comes in AISI 316L polished steel or 18 ct pink gold with removable wire loop strap, a patented feature.
You can choose from a polished steel or 18 ct pink gold bezel. The back is open showing the artful movement through a sapphire crystal formed of corundum and displaying 17 jewels. It has an anti-reflective coating.
Standard issue is a personalized leather strap with a large polished steel buckle or for the connoisseur the Panerai personalized alligator strap and 18 ct pink gold buckle might suit your fancy.
Water resistant to 100 meters.
