IWC Schaffhausen is a legendary watchmaker. Blending exceptional Swiss-made quality with style and flare helped to give them such a phenomenal reputation. Their timepieces are fantastic because of the innovation that goes into them. One fine example is of the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Men’s watch. The IW376101 Da Vinci is a limited edition piece put out by IWC. With only 500 in production, this is a collector’s item. Cast in polished platinum, this watch is bold and beautiful. This is a self-winding, with an automatic Chronograph movement. The Da Vinci has a 68 hour power hour reserve when fully wound, and of course it is equipped with the Perpetual Calendar. This men’s watch has large double-digit displays for both the date and the month, and also comes with a leap year indicator, in case that sneaks up on you. The IWC Da Vinci Platinum comes paired with a jet black alligator leather strap…a handsome combination. This timepiece is also available in 18 carat rose gold with a rich brown alligator leather strap, but I prefer the Platinum. The movement in this watch is 89800 calibre, and totally visible through the clear glass back. This IWC watch combines truly innovative watchmaking techniques. The Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar cannot be stopped.
