Inexpensive Watches for Men

The name Jorg Gray may not be familiar… yet, but will be in matter of moments. Jorg Gray was a little-known American watch company who struck gold when years ago, when the U.S. Secret Service ordered the Jorg Gray 6500-series timepiece, each branded with the Secret Service seal to be worn by all Secret Service workers. Then Senator Obama was given a Jorg Gray 6500 Chronograph as a birthday gift by his security detail. When Obama ran for and became President and was seen wearing this watch, it began getting more attention than it could have ever dreamed of, resulting in a surge of business and the ability to expand distribution.
Although Obama has also been known to wear a Rolex and a TAG Heuer, he really does like and wear his Jorg Gray. He may also be trying to send a message or two to the American people:
- That the President is like the average American, he doesn’t need to wear a watch that costs thousands of dollars.
- That we should promote and buy from American companies.
Jorg Gray watches, made for both men and women, cost between $200 and $500. They are made with scratch resistant mineral crystal, fine Italian leather straps and stainless steel casings. There are 23 collections just for women. To celebrate the unprecedented 44th inauguration of President Obama, Jorg Gray created a commemorative edition of the 6500 Chronograph.
Thanks to President Obama, Jorg Gray watches can now be found around the country and will soon be available around the world as well.
Other inexpensive and cool men’s watches are Seiko, Puma and Luminox.
