Victorinox Swiss Army is, certainly famous for their Swiss Army Knives. The cornerstone of their early days, the Swiss Army Knife was a springboard for the company into creating exceptional cutlery, designer fashion and fragrances, not to mention precision timepieces. With 125 years under their belt, and numerous products in their line, Victorinox has never strayed from the quality and pure craftsmanship that earned them their renowned reputation.
The Alluring Pocket Watch
One of Victorinox Swiss Army’s original creations was the pocket watch. Today, the Original Pocket Watch is still offered by them, and I am pleased. Asking a gentleman for the time and seeing him reach into his pocket and pull out a shiny watch is right out of a Hepburn and Bogart movie…romantic. Ok, but you have to admit, it’s unique that this innovative company has kept their pocket watch in their line, so let’s talk about it.
The Victorinox Swiss Army Original Pocket Watch is made with precision Swiss quartz movement. It comes with a stainless-steel case, and the glass is a hardened mineral, scratch-resistant crystal. The watch comes with a white face featuring luminous hands and the Swiss Army shield and cross at the 12 o’clock mark. It is water-resistant to 100 meters and comes with, either a black or brown leather carrying case and steel chain.
Let’s face it…the pocket watch is old-school, and some of us really, really love that!
