Cartier watches have long been associated with success and wealth, so it seem fitting that their newest women’s watch be opulent and covered in diamonds…what recession?
The New Cartier Captive
This luxurious watch, unveiled at the 2010 SIHH is a stunning example of Cartier’s undying passion for beauty…not to mention their optimism. This women’s watch is large, with a bangle-like 18 carat rhodium-plated white-gold bracelet in a brushed finish. The case measures 18mm and also comes with the brushed finish. The dial and bezel are pave-set with sparkling round-cut diamonds.
In fact, the entire watch is lit up with diamonds, from the hour and minute markers to the clasps that attack the dial to the bracelet. In all, there are 3 carats of diamonds adorning the Captive de Cartier. This is quite an unusual timepiece from Cartier, very artistic and much more modern than previous designs. This Cartier watch will stop traffic on a busy New York street!
